Free to convert · nothing uploaded

Your bank statement, in a spreadsheet that adds up.

Drop in a bank or credit card statement PDF and get a clean Excel or CSV file back. It is read here in your browser — the file never leaves your device.

Drop your statement here

A PDF downloaded from your bank. It is read on this device — it is not uploaded, and no copy of it reaches us.

Free. No sign-up. You see the result before you pay.

Password-protected PDFs are fine. Scans are not — if there is no text layer you are told straight away, before paying.

Every figure is checked against the statement’s own opening and closing balances — on a card, against the previous and new balance in its summary box. Converting costs nothing: the first rows and that balance check are on screen before you decide, and $14 buys the Excel file.

Credit card statements are supported: American Express and Chase Credit Card are tested on every commit, and other issuers usually read fine too.

TrackNora is operated by Digital Services LLC, Batumi, Georgia. Questions before you buy go to support@tracknora.com and a person answers.

Three things most converters get wrong.

01

It never leaves your device

Your statement is parsed by code running inside this tab. There is no upload endpoint, no bucket and no temporary copy on a server. Open your network tab and check — that claim is verifiable, which is the only kind worth making about a bank statement.

02

The numbers are checked, not assumed

Every extraction is reconciled against the statement's own balances. If the arithmetic does not close we say so, to the penny — and where the running balance column pins the break to one line, we point at that page and row. Better than a tidy-looking file that is quietly wrong.

03

Amounts arrive as numbers

Dates come through as real dates and amounts as real numbers with a currency format, so you can sum, sort and pivot immediately. A spreadsheet whose amount column is text is the most common complaint in this category and the easiest to avoid.

Download a sample .xlsx — made by the same exporter your file goes through, from an invented statement. Open it and sum the Amount column.

Pay once. No account, no subscription.

Most tools in this category start at a monthly plan you have to remember to cancel. If you convert a statement three times a year, that is the wrong shape. Convert one, pay $14, close the tab.

One conversion

$14

  • Excel (.xlsx) and CSV
  • Bank and credit card statements
  • One statement per purchase — any number of pages
  • Password-protected PDFs
  • Balance verification, down to the row wherever a running balance can pin it
  • No sign-up, no card stored, no subscription
Convert one free, then decide

Payment is handled by Stripe for SWYPE FZE, our affiliate and the merchant of record. The charge shows on your card statement as TRACKNORA.

The check happens before the charge

Converting is free, and so is the balance check. Before you are asked for a card you can see the opening balance, the closing balance and what the rows actually add up to — plus, where the running balance column pins the break to one line, the page and row it is on. If the numbers do not reconcile, do not buy the file.

And if you do buy and the file turns out wrong, unusable or simply not what you expected: email support@tracknora.com or reply to your Stripe receipt and we refund in full, without argument. That is the written policy, not a goodwill gesture.

No reviews yet

We launched recently, so nobody has reviewed us. Check these instead.

Everything below is something you can confirm yourself in the next two minutes, without trusting us and without spending anything. We would rather give you that than a star rating you have no way to audit.

01

Watch the network tab

Open developer tools, switch to Network, and convert your statement. You will see the page load and nothing else — no request carries your file, because there is no endpoint to carry it to. This is the one claim in this category that a visitor can falsify in thirty seconds.

02

Make it fail on purpose

Convert a statement, then compare the closing balance we compute against the one your bank printed. They match or we tell you by how much they do not — all of it free, all of it before the card comes out.

03

Read the tested list

The banks and card issuers below each have a statement layout — its column order, date order and currency — that an automated test rebuilds and re-parses on every commit. One appears there when the parser handles its layout and not before. If yours reads differently from ours, the balance check will say so on the free preview rather than after you have paid.

Cheaper than every subscription, up to a point.

Published prices as of 16 August 2026, cheapest annual commitment for each. Convert three statements a year and paying $14 each time costs $42.

ToolCheapest yearCommitment
TrackNora, 3 conversions$42None
bankstatementconverter.com$89.99Annual plan
ProperSoft$179.99Annual licence
MoneyThumb$199.95Annual plan
DocuClipper$240.00$20/mo
StatementSheet$348.00$29/mo

Where we lose: above about six statements a year, the cheapest annual plan in that table beats paying $14 each time. If you convert statements every month for a living, buy theirs — we would rather say so here than take the money and issue a refund later.

Banks and cards we have actually tested.

Each of these has a statement layout the parser is tested against on every commit. Others usually work too — the parser reads the table rather than a per-bank template — but these are the ones we will vouch for.

Questions

Can you convert a credit card statement?
Yes. American Express and Chase Credit Card are the card statements exercised by an automated test on every commit. A card statement prints no running balance, so it is reconciled against its own summary box instead: the previous balance plus every charge, fee, interest line and payment has to equal the new balance to the penny, or you are told by how much it does not. Charges come back positive because they increase what you owe, and payments negative. The Balance column is empty, because the statement has none to give.
Can you convert a scanned or photographed statement?
No. The converter reads the text layer inside the PDF, and a scan or a phone photo has none. You are told straight away, as soon as the file is read, and always before any payment. Re-download the statement from your online banking instead of scanning the paper copy — that version carries real text and converts immediately.
Does it handle password-protected PDFs?
Yes. If the PDF is encrypted you are asked for the password, and it is used by the parser running in this tab. The password stays on your device along with the file.
What does one purchase buy?
$14 unlocks the statement on screen — every transaction, however many pages it has — as both an .xlsx and a .csv. It is a single charge, not a subscription: there is no account, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. A second statement is a second $14.
What happens if the balance check fails?
The preview says so before you pay: instead of the verified badge you get the exact size of the discrepancy and — where the running balance column pins it to one line — the page and row it first stops matching on. Then you decide. Nothing about a failed check obliges you to buy the file.
Which columns come back?
Date, Description, Amount, Balance and Page. In the .xlsx, dates are real dates and amounts are real numbers with a currency format, so sums, sorting and pivot tables work without cleaning the file first. On a credit card statement the Balance column comes back empty — a card statement prints no running balance, and inventing one is not something a converter should do.
How do I get it into Excel or Google Sheets?
The .xlsx opens directly in Excel, Numbers and LibreOffice. For Google Sheets use File → Import → Upload with either file — note that this is you sending your data to Google, which is a separate decision from converting it here.
My bank or card issuer is not on your tested list. Will it work?
Often, yes. The parser reads the transaction table itself rather than a per-bank template, and it finds the totals by their printed labels — “opening balance”, “balance brought forward”, “previous balance”, “new balance” — which are the same words on almost every statement in English. The tested list is the set of layouts we run against on every commit and will vouch for, not the set we can read. Try it: converting is free, and the balance check tells you whether it read your statement correctly before you spend anything.
Who runs this, and can I reach a human before buying?
TrackNora is operated by Digital Services LLC, registered in Batumi, Georgia. Email support@tracknora.com with a question before you buy and a person answers. Payment is handled by Stripe for SWYPE FZE, our affiliate and the merchant of record, and the charge appears on your card statement as TRACKNORA.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are given on request, without argument. Email support@tracknora.com or reply to your Stripe receipt and you are refunded in full.
