- Do Monzo statements need a password?
- Monzo statements are not normally encrypted. If yours is, you will be asked for the password and it will stay on your device.
- How do I know the numbers are right?
- Every transaction is re-added and checked against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement itself. If it does not reconcile you are told the exact size of the discrepancy before you pay — and, where the running balance column pins the break to one line, the page and row it is on. Better than being handed a file that is quietly wrong.
